Some people living in southern Saskatchewan will have their SaskTel service knocked out for about one hour Thursday.
Starting at 1 a.m., crews will be working to make permanent repairs to a cable that was previously damaged as a result of a cable cut by a non-SaskTel contractor.
The communities affected include Arlington Beach, Assiniboine IR, Balgonie, Broadview, Edgeley, Glenavon, Grenfell, Indian Head, Kennedy, Kipling, Kirkella (MB), Maryfield, McLean, Moosomin, Oakshela, Percival, Qu’Appelle, Red Jacket, Sakimay IR, Sintaluta, St Joseph’s Colony, Wawota, Wapella, Whitewood, Windthorst, and Wolseley.
The outage will affect landline, cellular, high speed internet and data services with the exception of Moosomin, Broadview, and Indian Head which will retain cellular, high speed and data services.
