A stolen truck that attempted to out run police left a big hole in the fence near Bethlehem Catholic High School Sunday morning.
Police spotted the truck just before 4:30 a.m. on the west side of the city.
A pursuit ensued when the driver refused to stop for police and eventually ended when the vehicle collided with a fence.
A 21-year-old man in the truck was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
There was no update on the driver’s health, but the 20-year-old man is in police custody facing multiple offences related to evading police, dangerous driving and firearms.
Investigators from the forensic unit are assisting a collision analyst with the investigation.
