Regina police arrested a man for stealing a vehicle, crashing it and driving drunk.
Early Sunday morning around 5:54 a.m., police were called to a business on the 1000 block of Pasqua Street after a vehicle hit a parked car and left the scene.
Police found the stolen vehicle driving at 7th Avenue and Cameron Street. They tried to stop the vehicle but the driver continued onto 6th Avenue and hit a barricade and a parked vehicle.
The two people in the stolen vehicle then fled on foot and were arrested in the area by police.
One of those people was a young person who was later released with no charges.
The other person, Logan Cyr, 20, was charged with driving while impaired, driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood, failing to stop at a scene of an accident, possessing property obtained by a crime over $5,000 and running from police.
Cyr will appear in court on Oct. 24.
