Four charged with crystal meth in Swift Current

Swift Current RCMP arrested four people in connection with crystal meth charges.

Early Oct. 18, police executed a search warrant on a home at 461 – 1st Ave. NE where they found an undisclosed amount of  crystal meth, prohibited weapons, stolen property, break and enter tools as well as Canadian and U.S. currency.

Dwayne Anton Gilbertson, 50, of Swift Current was charged with possession of crystal meth with the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of prohibited weapons, possession of stolen property and possession of break and enter instruments.

Brittany Vanessa Wiens, 26, of Herbert, Sask. was charged with possession of crystal meth and possession of a prohibited weapon.

The two will appear in Provincial Court on Oct.19.

Diamond Crystal Meszaros, 19, of Eastend, Sask. was charged with being in possession of crystal meth and will be appearing in Provincial Court in Swift Current on Nov. 14.

Kayleigh Mary Frances Braithwaiste, 22, of Eastend, Saskatchewan has been charged with being in possession of crystal meth and will be appearing in Provincial Court in Swift Current on Nov. 14.
