Roughriders fined for going over 2024 CFL salary cap by $40k

The Riders are one of four teams to receive fines for exceeding the cap.
Despite his death this weekend, Terry Hincks will remain on the ballot this upcoming civic election.
According to the Local Government Election Act 2015, the election will proceed and only votes cast for the other candidates will count.
In Ward 9, the other candidates are Aiden Wotherspoon and Jason Mancineli.
The vote is Oct 26. Advance polls open Oct. 19.
