The Regina Food Bank is on pace to break their record for donations during their annual food drive.
This is the food drive’s 30th year and the food bank is set to collect over 400 tonnes of food.
The Regina food drive is the longest continuously run food drive in Canada.
The food bank will be collecting donations right up until Oct. 31.
If donation bags were missed during the household collection on the weekend, people can call the food bank and arrangements will be made to pick up the donations.
Also, people can also take their donation bag to any Regina grocery store for drop off.
On Oct. 20, the Food Bank will be holding their annual Feul2Feed event, where 20 cents per litre of fuel from participating Sherwood Co-op stations from will be donated to the Regina Food Bank.
Local band Frogsbank will be holding a concert at the Exchange on Oct. 21 and all proceeds from ticket sales will go the food bank as well.
