Regina police are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl, and are asking for the public’s assistance in finding her.
On Wednesday, a family member of Samara Moneybird contacted police to report the child had not been home since last Friday.
Moneybird was last seen around 4 p.m. that day at a home on the 900 block of Athol Street.
Family members have been checking addresses to look for her, but so far they have been unsuccessful.
Moneybird is an aboriginal girl, about 5’2″, approximately 120 pounds, medium build, with short, dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and white baseball hat, a black hooded sweater, blue jeans, and black and red runners.
