Are Trump comments 'locker room talk?'

Donald Trump was in hot water after a 2005 video surfaced of him making predatory, sexual comments about women.

“When you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump said. “You can do anything.”

Seconds later he added, “Grab them by the p—-. You can do anything.”

Trump choose to characterize those words as “locker room talk.”

Professional athletes have already taken issue with the presidential nominee’s comments, taking to twitter to voice their opinions.

It’s not just professional athletes who don’t agree with the notion that Trump’s comments are not a form of “locker room talk.”

Joshua Davies said Trump’s comments aren’t anything like the talks he and his teammates had.

“I haven’t played hockey eight years but it’s not like that.”

Jayden Isaac has played hockey for over 20 years and he said most of the locker room talk involves talking about the game and making fun of teammates.

Isaac said Trump should be ashamed he said those things.

“I think he needs a slap for that, to talk like that if he trying to run for a presidential position,” Isaac said.

Trump did issue an apology but used the term “locker room banter” multiple times during Sunday’s debate.
