'Start of something special': Riders use garbage bag day to reflect on 2024
Nov 11, 2024
The locker room was full of optimism for the future of the organization on Sunday.
It took overtime in both meetings, but the Roughriders have won both of their match-ups against the Ottawa Redblacks.
The Roughriders started off strong leading the Redblacks 13-7 going into half time.
Penalties marred the second half, which went back and forth between both teams before Ottawa forced overtime off a Chris Milo field goal.
But it was a field goal miss by Milo in overtime gave the Riders the chance they needed to win the football game. Tyler Crapigna was good from 39 yards out, sealing the 32-30 win.
The Riders have now won three straight games.
More to come.
