Saskatoon police are investigating after a private sale went bad Thursday night in the Westmount neighbourhood.
Police got a call about a street robbery around 9:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Avenue E North.
The 24-year-old man had made arrangements to meet a potential buyer for laptop he was selling online.
Police said the suspect showed a firearm and robbed him of the laptop and other personal belongings during the exchange.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between 24 and 28 years old. He is approximately six feet and one inch tall with dark short hair and was wearing a black jacket, jeans and carrying a computer bag.
