Six men are facing drugs and weapons-related charges after an operation by the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team between Thursday evening and early Friday morning.
Police said the operation started at 5 p.m. Thursday at the parking lot of a restaurant on Circle Drive West near Avenue C North.
SIDEST conducted five high-risk arrests and discovered 50 fentanyl pills, 15 grams of crystal methamphetamine, two loaded handguns and $3,500 in cash.
Officers later served a search warrant at a home on Rita Crescent, in the Sutherland neighbourhood.
Three handguns were seized along with $57,400 in cash, 641 fentanyl pills, and 170 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Several people were arrested.
The men charged are all between 18 and 28 years old.
They face multiple charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and firearms-related charges.
