A La Ronge man has been charged after an early morning Amber Alert in Saskatchewan.
Jarrod Charles, 18, is facing two counts of abduction of person under 14 and two counts of breach of undertaking.
RCMP confirmed around 6 p.m. Wednesday they received a couple complaints about a stolen grey van from a home in La Ronge.
Just before 8 p.m, a complaint was received that a young boy was taken by a man in a silver van and possibly travelling to Prince Albert. The person also stated another young boy was possibly with them and that the three were possibly seen walking together near Far Reserve in the La Ronge area earlier in the day.
The same man had been identified as a potential person of interest.
The man was on an undertaking to not have any contact with children under the age of 16 unless an adult is present, which led investigators to activate an Amber Alert.
At 12:55 a.m. Thursday, Wakaw RCMP located the suspect vehicle at a home in St. Louis, Saskatchewan, located around 35 kilometers south of Prince Albert. Investigators then located the two missing children and the suspect was taken into custody.
Charles appeared in provincial court in Prince Albert Thursday.
