Police teams from across the province were involved in a drug bust north of North Battleford.
According to the RCMP, a search warrant was executed in the R.M. of Medstead around 11:20 a.m. on Friday. Members from the RCMP, North Battleford provincial and municipal geographic information systems, North Battleford police dogs, Battleford’s detachment, Integrated Organized Crime Unit from Saskatoon, Regina Emergency Response Team, and scene evidence recovery managers were involved in the investigation.
In the search police said they found a large number of marijuana plants, packaged marijuana, cash, and guns.
Three people were arrested: Cory Graham, 44, and Melanie Boulette, 34, are both from the R,M. of Medstead, while Oscar Gutierrez-Reyes, 43, is from Ontario.
All three are charged with production of cannabis marijuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime. RCMP said other charges will be laid at a later date in relation to the guns found at the scene.
