Calgary Dinos Niko DiFonte kicked a 10-yard field goal with 41 seconds left in Friday night’s battle to give them a 20-19 win over the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.
The Huskies haven’t beaten the Dinos since 2010.
“We had the wind in the fourth quarter and just needed one more first down, but it just didn’t happen,” said Huskies head coach Brian Towriss.
“That’s football.”
The Dinos marched the ball 101 yards on the game-winning drive after starting on their own six-yard line.
“We played our hearts out,” Towriss said. “We were good all night, but we just needed to make a couple more plays.”

The Dinos remain perfect at 3-0, Huskies drop to 2-1.
The Huskies head to Manitoba next week to meet the Bisons. Calgary will visit the Regina Rams.
Another 8,000 fans packed the stands for U of S homecoming and the running of the toga tradition remained strong as 80 students took part.
