Four-vehicle crash in Saskatoon sends four people to hospital

A 23-year-old driver and three children were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a four vehicle crash near the University of Saskatchewan.

The collision happened at Cumberland Avenue and College Drive around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Police said an eastbound vehicle slammed into a second vehicle, setting off a chain reaction involving two other vehicles.

The 23-year-old driver was given a ticket for driving without due care and attention, and driving unaccompanied as a learner.
