2 dead after rollover north of Meadow Lake

Two men are dead after being thrown from a vehicle when it rolled on Highway 4 north of Meadow Lake Saturday morning.

Meadow Lake RCMP said officers were on their way to another call when they saw the vehicle in a field off the highway.

When they got to the vehicle officers found a 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl inside, they were taken to the hospital, along with a 16-year-old girl who had been thrown from the vehicle.

RCMP also found a 20-year-old man who was identified as the driver and was also thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Later, the collision reconstruction team found a 19-year-old man while using a drone to view the scene. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.

All of the people involved are from the Meadow Lake area.
