Four suspects are believed to be responsible for a home invasion in Regina.
Police were called to a home in the 2000 block of St. John Street — near Victoria Avenue — at 2:45 a.m. Friday.
Police learned a 48-year-old man inside the home woke up when he heard loud banging at the back door. He quickly encountered four masked men who pushed him to the ground and assaulted him.
One of the suspects had a gun, and demanded money. The 48-year-old handed over some cash, and the four suspects escaped through the back door and into an alley.
Besides a gun, the suspects also had a knife and baton with them.
The man with the baton is described as aboriginal, about 5’9″, wearing a grey sweater, black hat, black mask, blue jeans and black shoes.
