A Warman RCMP officer is suspended with pay after being arrested and charged with two counts of assault.
The charges stem from an incident in Warman in the early hours of Feb. 24, 2016.
Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious male going through vehicles. Upon arriving on the scene, officers noticed two male youth fleeing the scene. They were then arrested.
RCMP say further investigation revealed two altercations occurred after the arrests between one of the on-duty officers. The altercations happened separately.
RCMP say Cpl. Dean Flaman was arrested on Aug. 8. He has been released on conditions.
Flaman will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Sept. 14.
