An incident involving the RCMP in Green Lake, Saskatchewan — 306 km northwest of Saskatoon — is over.
RCMP confirm three people have been taken into custody but one remains at large. It is unclear what the incident was about, but it is believed guns were involved.
The emergency response team has backed off.
During the incident, residents were told to stay indoors and avoid the 100 block of Mill Street while officers handled the situation. Also, Highway 55 in the area was blocked off, but is now back open.
The investigation is ongoing.
RCMP say anyone who notices anything suspicious in Green Lake should contact the local detachment.
