Saskatoon police have arrested 16 people following searches at a pair of homes on the 300 block of Avenue J South.
Officers arrived with search warrants around 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police said they recovered stolen property including tools and several bicycles. They also found methamphetamine and two guns.
Seven men ranging in age from 20 to 52 and nine women between 19 and 46 are all facing drug and possession of stolen property charges.
Police said Thursday’s searches might be related to the seizure of more than 40 bicycles from the same block on July 11.
People who think their property might be among the items recovered are being asked to make sure they’ve filled out a detailed police report.

A heavy police presence – including a tactical team, K9 unit and an armoured vehicle – surrounded a home on Avenue J South Thursday morning.
Saskatoon police said around 6:30 a.m. officers executed search warrants at two homes in the 300 block of Avenue J South in connection to stolen property.
A woman and two children were taken from one of the homes.
Police said a number of people ranging in age have been arrested, but no charges have been laid at this time.
Traffic was blocked on Avenue J South between 19th and 20th streets.
