An 86-year-old Saskatoon man is dead after a run in with a driver Thursday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue G. at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Police say the man was crossing the street when a truck entered the cross walk and made a sudden stop. It’s not clear whether the man was struck or was startled and fell as a result of other medical conditions.
The driver has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
