A serious crash southeast of Regina Saturday morning left one man dead and shut down highway 33 for several hours.
RCMP in White Butte said a semi collided with a car near Lajord at around 9:30 a.m. The lone driver of the car was killed, while the semi driver was treated on scene for minor injuries.
As of late Saturday afternoon, one lane of the highway is re-open, but the semi involved in the crash is still on the road, and traffic restrictions remain in place.
The deceased man’s name, age, or home community have not been released.
