Canadian fencers are set to face off in Saskatoon this weekend.
The Western Canadian Fencing Championship will be held at the Saskatoon Field House from May 6-8.
Athletes from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan will compete, including several members of the national team and international fencers, across the three disciplines of Foil, Epee and Sabre.
“These are incredibly talented athletes and we’re happy to have them competing in our city,” said Lynn Seguin, Saskatoon Fencing Club Coach in a news release Monday.
Admission is free and spectators are encouraged.
