One person has died in a crash between a car and a semi on Highway 9 north of Yorkton on Friday.
Members of the Yorkton Rural RMCP detachment have closed the highway to allow the traffic analyst and coroner to investigate the scene.
The crash happened late Friday afternoon. Police say the car was heading south and the semi was heading north. There were two people in the car and one person was killed. The extent of injuries to the other person in the vehicle is unknown.
The semi driver was not hurt in the crash.
Police say the cause is still unknown, but highway conditions were considered to be good at the time.
