After high winds swept across southern Saskatchewan Wednesday, the province is left with some snow and cold.
The cold air has settled into the province. CJME weather specialist John Wilson says colder temperatures will be the rule for the next week or so.
The forecast shows Regina seeing overnight lows around -15 C Thursday, with Saskatoon expected to dip to -12 C. However, it looks like the weekend may warm things up again, with the Queen City seeing highs of 6 C and the Bridge City seeing 7 C.
Drivers will still have some slippery roads to deal with Thursday as ice remains on many surfaces.
RCMP spent the night on Highway 11 clearing a semi that had rolled between Bladworth and Davidson. The truck had blocked the northbound lanes of the highway from about 11 p.m. Wednesday to 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
There’s no word on if the driver of the semi was hurt in the rollover.
