There are two petitions circulating online calling for CKOM’s John Gormley to apologize and to resign over a controversial tweet.
Gormley posted the tweet late Friday following the attacks in Paris. He deleted it several hours later.
Twice on his show this week, Gormley addressed the issue, saying it was a poor decision and apologized.
“I own the tweet and I am terribly sorry, deeply apologetic that I did that,” Gormley said on his show Thursday morning.
He will not be leaving the show.
