A close call for a young Saskatoon girl.
Saskatoon Police are investigating a report of a student being approached by a suspicious male early Tuesday afternoon.
In a release, police say the incident occurred while the 11 year old was in front of St.Marguerite Catholic Elementary School. A man pulled up in a vehicle and told the girl to get inside. The man then grabbed onto the girls arm and attempted to pull her into the car. The girl managed to pull away and reported the activity to both her school and parents.
The male is described as being Caucasian, in his early 20’s, 6’0″ – 6’4″ with an average build and a tattoo on his neck. He also had tattoos on his forearms. He had short brown curly hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a jean jacket, black pants that were ripped and black shoes. The vehicle is described as an older model, red 4 door sedan with a dent on the passenger side front door.

Parents and children are reminded to be aware of suspicious activity, walk or play in pairs or groups, stay in well populated – well lit areas and report suspicious activity to police immediately.
