Photos show exactly how bad a hail storm was for the Delta plane that made an emergency landing in Denver on Friday night.
Passengers were en route from Boston to Salt Lake City when they flew through the storm. Paint was entirely stripped off the nose of the plane while it suffered a shattered windshield.
Despite the damage that made it difficult for pilots to see, they were able to land without any issues.

#Delta should give the pilot of my flight a sizable bonus for saving our butts. pic.twitter.com/O5EntnI5A2
