Although wildfires continue to burn in parts of northern saskatchwan, conditions are safe to travel to tourism businesses and attractions throughout the region, the province says.
Many tourism operators in the north continue to be open for business and the ministry encourages visitors to explore the province this summer.
Prince Albert National Park is seeing blue skies and sunny skies and recent showers have reduced the risk of wildfires. all campgrounds in the park are open and a ban on wood fires has been lifted.
Despite heavy smoke in the area of Candle Lake there are no major fire hazards — ample rain and nice weather and businesses are eager to welcome more visitors this summer.
