Work has now begun on evaluating the roster ahead of the 2025 season.
Two people were badly hurt when the truck they were traveling in collided with a tree next to the Manitoba Expressway in Moose Jaw Wednesday night.
The truck was headed east at around 8 p.m. when the driver lost control. The vehicle slid sideway across both lanes before hitting the tree just off the south shoulder of the road.
The man driving was taken to the Moose Jaw Union Hospital Jaw with life-threatening injuries, but was later transported by STARS to the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
The passenger suffered severe injuries and was taken to hospital in Moose Jaw.
No age was provided by Moose Jaw police for either of the men. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
