UPDATE: Crash north of Regina claims a woman's life

Highway 6 just outside of Regina was closed for several hours on Sunday afternoon after a crash between a car and a SUV.

The collision ended up killing a 47-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the car. The driver of the car, and the SUV were treated at the scene, but didn't have to be taken to hospital.

The accident itself happened just before 11 a.m. on Sunday, about 10 minutes north of the Queen City.

The woman's family has been told about her passing, but her name won't be released.
