It’s a week honouring 100 years of Huskie athletics at the University of Saskatchewan.

Everything kicks off Tuesday with a dog walk at the University of Saskatchewan vet college Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.

The Huskie football team is scheduled to play the Regina Rams on Friday.

The University of Saskatchewan Chancellor Vera Pezer says students can expect a centennial surprise.

“We’ve had a University of Saskatchewan alumnus create a centennial song for us. That will be unveiled for the first time at the game on Friday night,” she said.

Pezer says a new program this year will allow alumni to become a Huskie member for five years with a $250 donation.
