A driver in Saskatoon is lucky he wasn’t badly hurt after his truck went off the Circle Drive overpass and landed on College Drive.

Around 10:30 a.m. this morning, a half-ton truck going north on Circle Drive lost control and went over the concrete barrier.

It landed in the west bound lanes of College Drive.

The 20-year-old man in the truck was taken to hospital. Police said he has a sore back, but no other injuries. Officers believe, considering the extensive damage of his truck, that he wasn’t more seriously hurt because he was wearing a seatbelt.
