The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society helicopter is on its first mission after the Emergency Medical Service in the Kenosee Lake area transported a patient to the hospital in the town of Arcola.

No details yet on the patient who will be transported to Regina via the STARS air ambulance serivce.

STARS is based at the Regina airport and has 20 pilots, paramedics and flight nurses. It is equipped to rapidly transport one critically inured person or two non-critically injured patients
