Saskatchewan suffers second loss at Scotties

Saskatchewan fell to 4 -2 at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kingston on Tuesday night.

Nova Scotia’s Mary-Anne Arsenault defeated Jill Shumay’s team out of Maidstone 7-5 in draw nine. Nova Scotia scored three in the second end, then stole points in the third and fourth ends.

Ontario (Rachel Homan), Manitoba (Jennifer Jones) and Team Canada (Heather Nedohin) top the standings at 6-0.

Saskatchewan faces Ontario in Wednesday afternoon’s 10th draw.
