Oprah Winfrey is saving Saskatoon for last in her four-city tour this spring.
The queen of talk will host “An Evening with Oprah Winfrey” at Credit Union Centre on April 14. During her hour-long program, she’s share motivational stories from throughout her life. A question-and-answer session will follow.
Andy McCreath of tinePublic Inc. is producing the event which is also going to Hamilton, Ottawa and Montreal.
“We think she will be very well received in Saskatchewan. We are extremely excited that she agreed to do this event,” he said.
McCreath was with Oprah for five days during her stops in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. He has also worked with President George W. Bush, President George H.W. Bush, Donald Trump and President Bill Clinton, all of whom were great to travel with, he said.
“What you see is what you get with Oprah. She’s as nice a person when the cameras are off as she when they are on. She’s just very down to earth,” he said, adding she was kind to everyone from the camera crew to the doormen at the hotels.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. exclusively at ticketmaster.ca. There are approximately 10,000 tickets available to the public.
