Game six goes to Saskatoon Blades

The Saskatoon Blades defeated the Prince Albert Radiers 2-1 in overtime in game six of the WHL eastern conference quarter-final on Sunday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

Matt Stransky scored the winning goal at the 4:24 mark of overtime.

Antoine Corbin opened the scoring for P.A. 2:43 in to the hockey game. Brent Benson replied for Saskatoon at the 12:21 mark of the second period.

Steven Stanford made 33 saves in the Blades net.

The Blades now wait to find out who their round two opponent will be.

If the Wheat Kings beat Medicine Hat in their eastern conference quarterfinal, the Blades will meet Brandon in the second round. If Medicine Hat wins the series, the Blades will face the Kootenay Ice.
