Saskatoon RCMP are looking for George Pankiw, 80, who was reporting missing Monday night around 9:30 p.m.
The man is the father of former Saskatoon-Humboldt MP Jim Pankiw.
“I just want to find him,” said Jim.
George had left his son’s home in Casa Rio Estates south of the city around 5 p.m. He was heading to his son’s clinic in Saskatoon but didn’t arrive.
Jim says he suffers from early stages of dementia.
“We looked everywhere we could think of,” said Jim.
“He must have lost his way and is confused. It’s anybody’s guess as to where he could be.
Pankiw was driving a red 2000 Ford F150 truck.
He is described as five foot seven, 170 pounds, with white hair and was last seen wearing black jeans, a grey and black checkered or striped shirt and black ball cap. Edited by News Talk Radio’s Chris Morin and Karin Yeske.
