Hundreds of people from Red Earth First Nation will be allowed to go home as early as Monday.
Community leaders have decided to start the repatriation process with the help of emergency management and emergency social services.
People were forced to leave their homes over flooding concerns last Thursday and Friday.
Since the evacuation, around 1,000 people have been staying in Saskatoon.
Red Earth First Nation is located 225 kilometres northeast of Prince Albert.
