Riders receiver Jenson Stoshak made waves on social media with his triple-backflip video.

His ability to catch a football gave him his fifteen minutes of fame. Now, Jenson Stoshak wants to make a CFL career out of it.

The world was introduced to the Saskatchewan Roughriders import receiver in May 2015 when video surfaced on Twitter showing the Jacksonville, Fla. native performing three back flips while catching footballs.

"One day after practice we were like, 'Hey, wanna try and make SportsCenter?' and it ended up blowing up," Stoshak said. "I don't think coaches really care if you can catch a backflip ball, but it was something fun to do."

Riders fans got a taste of that Saturday when Stoshak made four receptions for 67 yards in the Green and White game. His play didn’t go unnoticed as he started week two of training camp working with the first-team offence.

"It's good to see the hard work pay off," he said. "I have been hitting the playbook pretty hard and I have been confident in my workouts."

A product of Florida Atlantic University, Stoshak was signed by the Carolina Panthers in 2016. Now giving the CFL a try, he has been embracing the adjustments and, hopefully, his new home in Canada.

"I love all the motions and it's an offensively driven league and I love it,” he said.

Stoshak will get is first chance to perform in a real game environment when the Riders host Winnipeg Saturday night in their first pre-season game.

"I'm just here trying to get a job."
