Four unanswered goals gave the Swift Current Broncos a two-goal swing and a 5-3 comeback win over the Saskatoon Blades.

Braylon Shmyr scored twice in the first period to put Saskatoon ahead 2-0 heading into the intermission.

Midway through the second, Swift Current scored twice and added a pair early in the third to take a late 4-2 lead.

Evan Fiala got the Blades close before a Broncos powerplay goal sealed the deal.

Brock Hamm made 23 saves in the losing effort as the Blades outshot the Broncos 36-28.

The loss, combined with a 4-3 win for Calgary over Lethbridge puts the Hitmen 1 point back of the Blades for a playoff spot.

The two sides go at it again Saturday night in Swift Current.
